Attorney David Chaumette of Houston; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Dennis G. Brewer Sr. with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of Chicago Law School.

The District 5 Grievance Committee found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to hold client funds in required client trust account
• Failed to promptly deliver funds to clients they were lawfully entitled to receive
• Failed to provide client with written statement showing disbursement of settlement funds and the method in determining said distribution

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Dave practices with Chaumette PLLC at 50 Briar Hollow Lane in Houston, Texas.
