Attorney Tina Patrick-Broadway of Charlotte; ethical misfit

The state of North Carolina presented Tina Patrick-Broadway with a law license in 1994.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar charged Tina with the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain legible images of canceled checks
• Failed to perform required monthly reconciliations of trust accounts
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to timely pay client’s property taxes
• Failed to promptly pay funds owing to third person
• Failed to provide requested info to ethics investigators (Up yours, said Tina!)
• Failed to act with due diligence
• Failure to comply with trust accounting rules led to two employees stealing entrusted funds

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Tina by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Tina practices with Lutzel Broadway & Associates PC at 3430 Toringdon Way in Charlotte, North Carolina.
