Attorney Donald Schwab of River Falls, WI; ethical dwarf

The state of Wisconsin presented Donald J. Schwab with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from William Mitchell Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Donnie guilty of the following misconduct.

·        Wrote check on insufficient account (rubber)

·        Improperly withdrew funds from client trust account as payment for fees he had not yet earned

·        Failed to credit advance withdrawals to his client trust account for as much as 16 months

·        Billed multiple clients for attorney fees he had not earned

·        Never fully credited advance withdrawals to client trust accounts

·        Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Donnie practices with the Schwab Law Office LLC at 421 North Main Street in River Falls, Wisconsin.
