Attorney Joe Pegram of Oxford, MS; ethical dwarf

The state of Mississippi presented Joe Donald Pegram with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School.

The Mississippi State Bar Association found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (Moron) Reprimand
  • Improperly declined or terminated representation
  • Behavior threatened dignity and reputation of legal profession
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
  • Failed to return unearned fees

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Joey practices at 1405 Jackson Avenue in Oxford, Mississippi.
