Attorney William Rye of Hopkinsville, KY; ethical misfit

The state of Kentucky presented William David Rye with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of Louisville Law School.

The Kentucky Bar Association found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client reasonably informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Billy!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kentucky Supreme Court the punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (November 2014), Billy practices at 700 South Main Street in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
