State Rep. Ron Reynolds (D-TX); Today’s Public Official Misfit

The state of Texas presented Ronald Eugene Reynolds with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Texas Tech University Law School.

Attorney Texas Tech claims he graduated magna scum laude from Texas Southern University.

Ronnie duped the voters in the Fort Bend area into electing him to the Texas House of Representatives in November 2010.

Ronnie is scheduled to appear at a criminal trial beginning on November 4, 2014 to defend himself against ten (10) third-degree felony barratry charges. The indictment alleges that he accepted employment with five clients as “the result of solicitation, by telephone, by Crystal Valdez or Robert Valdez” and that he paid or offered to pay money to Robert Valdez to solicit the employment.

Ronnie utilized Robert and Crystal Valdez in an attempt to solicit sixteen (16) additional “prospective clients.” According to the criminal notice, Ronnie has defended himself in ten (10) civil lawsuits between 2005 and 2014. Clients sued him four times. Medical providers sued Reynolds four times, alleging that he requested services for clients but didn't pay the bills.

As one would suspect, Ronnie has previously been the target of three (3) attorney disciplinary cases instituted by the State Bar of Texas. In two instances, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Ronnie by gifting him partially probated suspensions of his law license.

All that remains now is to see how many felonies the jury finds Ronnie guilty of and whether or not the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court will actually do anything meaningful this time.

As we speak (October 2014), Ronnie continues to sit as a Texas State Representative. In addition, Ronnie practices law at 3730 Kirby Drive in Houston, Texas.
