Attorney Clayton Schnyder Jr. of New Orleans; ethical elf

The state of Louisiana presented Clayton Paul Schnyder Jr. with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Southern University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Clayton guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to take reasonable steps to expedite litigation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Clayton!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Clayton by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca) November 2014) Clayton practices with The Schnyder Law Firm LLC at 410 South Rampart Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.
