Judge Jacqueline Stern of Oceanside, CA; moronic loser

The state of California provided Jacqueline Marion Stern with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from California Western Law School.

In 1998, former Gov. Wilson was duped into appointing Jacqueline as a San Diego County Superior Court judge. Jacqueline didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the San Diego area. She received the appointment because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

Over the past thirty (30) years (ca. 1984 to 2014), Jacqueline has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough.

In one matter, Jacqueline was assigned to hear the case of Kimberli Hirst who had sued the city of Oceanside and then Oceanside police officer Gil Garcia, her co-worker of sexual harassment.

After a four week trial, the jury awarded Ms. Hirst $1.5 million and found the city of Oceanside liable because the sexual harassment happened on the job.

In her infinite ignorance, Judge Stern had the chutzpah to overturn the jury verdict, which rarely happens. In tossing the verdict, Jackie said in part:

  • “The victim’s [Ms. Hirst] testimony about the sexual harassment “appeared staged at times.”
  • “She cried numerous times during her trail testimony, but admitted that when she eventually discussed the harassment four years earlier [when it took place] she did not cry.”
  • “Her testimony was not credible.”

The jury voted 11-1 in favor of Ms. Hirst. Clearly, the jury found her testimony credible. For the Ignorant Jackie to hang her hat on the fact that Ms. Hirst didn’t cry when she discussed the sexual harassment four years earlier doesn’t pass the involuntary laugh test.

Judge Stern’s obnoxious reversal of the jury verdict, leaves Ms. Hirst and her lawyer with a choice of either appealing the ruling or having another jury trial in hopes of a similar result as the original 11-1.

Of course Jackie the Moron doesn’t much give a damn how much it will cost California taxpayers for the cost of an appeal or for a new trial. It won’t cost the Moron anything at all.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Jackie continues to sit as a San Diego County Superior Court judge.
