Attorney Edward Kahn of Lawrenceville, NJ; ethical misfit

The state of Pennsylvania presented Edward S. Kahn with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Ethics found Eddy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to promptly pay client medical bills after client’s case settled
  • Failed to promptly disburse funds belonging to clients
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to promptly remove earned fees from trust account as required

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Eddy by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Eddy practices at 140 Franklin Corner in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
