Attorney Robert Weinberg of Bayonne, NJ; repeat offender

 

The state of New Jersey presented Robert P. Weinberg with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School.

 

The New Jersey Office of Ethics found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Bobby’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Negligently misappropriated (stole) trust funds
  • Failed to maintain running checkbook balance
  • Failed to prepare three-way reconciliations
  • Failed to maintain receipt and disbursement ledgers

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Bobby’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to memorialize basis for rate of his fee
  • Made loans to client and to investor/employee of a business he represented w/o advising them to seek independent counsel
  • Failed to reduce business transactions to writing
  • Improperly placed personal funds into trust account to fund loans

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Bobby practices at 28 W. 22nd Street in Bayonne, NJ.
