Attorney Felicia Russell of Shrewsbury, NJ; ethical gremlin

The state of New Jersey presented Felicia B. Russell with a law license in 1985.

The New Jersey Office of Ethics found Felicia guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file answer in divorce action on client’s behalf
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to allow client to make informed decision about representation
• Failed to take any action on client’s divorce case thereby resulting in a default judgment being entered against the client

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Felicia by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.
