Attorney David Martin of Sylvania, OH; ethical gremlin

The state of Ohio provided David Louis Martin with a law license in 1988. The state of Michigan presented Dave with a law license in 1989.

The Washtenaw County Hearing Panel #2 found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Dave!)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Made untruthful (lied) statements to others
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct and/or knowingly assisted or induced another to do

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tri-County Hearing Panel punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (November 2014), Dave practices in Sylvania, Ohio, which is a suburb of Toledo.
