Attorney John Saur of Santa Ana; thief, repeat offender

The state of California provided John Kenneth Saur with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the Western State University Law School.

The California State Bar Court found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide client with accounting of claimed fees
  • Failed to promptly refund unearned fees
  • Arbitrator ruled $20,000 fee totally refundable as unearned

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reproval.

The California State Bar Court has charged Johnny with the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain client funds in trust account as required
  • Misappropriated [stole] $31,000 of client funds
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to inform client of significant developments in case

All that remains now is to se what if any punishment the comedians sitting on the State Bar Court mete out to Johnny.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Johnny practices with the Law Office of John K. Saur at 1851 East First Street in Santa Ana, California.
