Judge Benjamin Logan of Grand Rapids, MI; ethical dwarf

The state of Michigan presented Benjamin Logan with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Ohio Northern University Law School.

Benny has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the last thirty (30) years.

The Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission found Benny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Benny improperly authorized a Kent Count commissioner facing an aggravated assault charge to be freed on personal recognizance before he was even arraigned.

Because Judicial Misfits in Michigan are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, the comedians sitting on the Judicial Tenure Commission dismissed serious allegations of perjury and active misconduct when they entered into a settlement with Benny.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Benny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Benny remains sitting as a District Court Judge in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
