Attorney Mark Stopa of St. Petersburg, FL; ethical misfit

The state of Florida presented Mark P. Stopa with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School. 

The Florida State Bar found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with candor towards a tribunal
• Impugned the qualifications and integrity of judges and others
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to communicate with client and/or others

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Mark practices with the Stopa Law Firm at 447 Third Avenue North in St. Petersburg, Florida.
