Attorney Richard Lancianese of Winston Salem, NC; crook

 

The state of West Virginia presented Richard L. Lancianese with a law license in 1986. He also received a law license from the District of Columbia in 1999.

 

The Lawyer Disciplinary Board found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

               

At the time of his misconduct, Dick was a partner of Baker & Marstellar in Huntington, West Virginia. . Dick found it acceptable to overbill a client by $135,878.68 while working for the for the Baker firm.

 

Dick billed two insurers for the same work performed on behalf of BorgWarner Inc.

 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the West Virginia Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. July 2014), Dick practices at 5105 Huntcliff Trail in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
