Attorney Cynthia Podis of Nashville; ethical dwarf

The state of Tennessee provided Cynthia Nicholson Podis with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Cynthia guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to appear in court on client’s behalf on at least 3 occasions
  • Found in contempt of court for failure to appear
  • Neglected a client’s legal matter
  • Failed to deposit retainer into trust account as required
  • Failed to safeguard client funds

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Cynthia by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2014) Cynthia practices at 1161 Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville, Tennessee.
