Attorney Lenda Burnett of Terrell, TX; ethical misfit

The state of Texas presented Lenda Bush Burnett with a law license in 1986 after she graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The District 1 Grievance Committee found Nuru guilty of the following misconduct

• Failed to promptly return unearned fee
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Lenda!)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Lenda by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Lenda practices with the Law Office of Lenda Bush at 102 East Moore Avenue in Terrell, Texas.
