Attorney Mark Barber of Wichita Falls, TX; ethical misfit

The state of Texas presented Mark Houston Barber with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Baylor University Law School.

The 30th District Court of Wichita County found Mark guilty of the following misconduct

  • Asserted a position that was clearly frivolous
  • Used means that had no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden a third person
  • Used methods to obtain evidence that violated the legal rights of another

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Mark practices at 1101 Scott Avenue in Wichita Falls, Texas.
