Attorney David Biagas of El Paso, TX; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented David Edward Biagas with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Texas Southern University Law School.

The District 17 Grievance Committee found Dave guilty of the following misconduct

• Shared fees with another attorney
• Fee sharing was not in proportion to services performed
• Knowingly assisted a judge in violation of Code of Judicial Conduct
• Failed to obtain client’s consent to share fees with another attorney

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2014), Dave practices in the El Paso, Texas area.
