Attorney R. Clark Rehn of Yellowknife, NWT; repeat offender

The Law Society of Canada presented R. Clark Rehn with a law license in 1978.

The Law Society of the Northwest Territories found Nicky guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to complete work on client’s behalf
  • Failed to retain accounting of client funds
  • Failed to inform client of status of legal matter
  • Negligence led to statute of limitations tolling on client appellate rights
  • Failed to respond to repeated requests for information from opposing counsel

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Rehn’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct, some of which is similar to that aforementioned.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of Inquiry punished Rehn by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Rehn practices in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.
