Attorney Pauline Duncan-Bonneau of Saskatchewan; ethical dwarf

The Law Society of Saskatchewan presented Pauline Duncan-Bonneau with a law license in 1978.

The Law Society of Saskatchewan found Pauline guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Abused her power as sole executrix/attorney for estate by threatening to increase fees charged to estate if the beneficiaries requested that her fees be taxed by the court
  • Engaged in conduct unbecoming an officer of the court
  • Used her positions as sole executrix of estate in an attempt to compel client to abandon complaint against her with the Law Society of Saskatchewan

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society of Saskatchewan Committee punished Pauline by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and a $5,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Pauline practices in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
