Attorney Monte Sheppard of Kindersley, SK; ethical misfit

The Law Society of Canada presented Monte James Sheppard with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Saskatchewan Law School.

The Law Society of Canada found Monte guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct unbecoming a lawyer
  • Acted against the interests of former family law client
  • Placed himself in position where he could be tempted or could have been tempted to disclose confidential client information

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Monte by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Monte practices with Sheppard & Millar at 113 First Avenue in Kindersley, Saskatchewan
