The District of Columbia Bar presented Samuel Jay Levin with a law license in 1973. Sammy is also licensed to practice in Virginia.

 

The DC Bar Counsel found Sammy guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Sammy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to provide competent representation
  • Failed act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to ensure client’s notice of appeal filed by deadline
  • Failed to provide zealous representation

In one matter, Sammy failed to promptly forward a former client’s file to successor counsel in an immigration matter.
