Attorney C. Blasé McCarthy of New Orleans; ethical gremlin
The state of Louisiana presented C. Blasé McCarthy with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in New Orleans.
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Blasé guilty of the following misconduct.
- Failed to comply with mandatory continuing legal education requirements
- Failed to pay annual bar dues
- Failed to pay disciplinary fine and/or assessments
- Engaged in the illegal practice of law
- Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
- Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Blasé by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
As we speak (ca. September 2014) Blasé practices at 30 Newcomb Blvd in New Orleans, Louisiana.
