Attorney Johnnie Graham of Albany, GA; ethical misfit

The state of Georgia presented Johnnie Mae Graham with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from the University of Georgia Law School.

The State Bar of Georgia found Johnnie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file client’s claim prior to expiration of statute of limitations
• Failed to promptly respond to inquires from bankruptcy court
• Failed to respond to subpoena issued by bankruptcy trustee
• Ordered by bankruptcy court to disgorge fees paid by client

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Johnnie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Johnnie practices with J. Graham & Associates LLC in Albany, Georgia.
