Attorney Victor Armendariz of Maywood, IL; repeat offender

The state of Illinois presented Victor Parra Armendariz with a law license in 1988.

The Disciplinary Commission found Vic guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected a client matter entrusted to him
• Negotiated agreement to settle legal malpractice claim with client w/o first advising him in writing to see independent representation

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Vic’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Vic by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2014, Vic practices at 1700 South First Avenue in Maywood, Illinois.
