Attorney Phillip Pippenger of Evanston, IL; lying loser

The state of Illinois presented Phillip McKinney Pippenger with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Cornell University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Phil agreed to file a patent application and a complaint relating to a contractual dispute on behalf of a client.

Phil delayed filing the patent application and never filed the contractual dispute complaint; however, he misrepresented (lied) about the status of both matters to his clients.

Making matters worse, Phil also failed to be candid (truthful) with the ethic investigators during the course of their investigation.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 60-day suspension of his law license.
