Attorney Christopher Lamont of Orofino, ID; ethical misfit

The state of Vermont presented Christopher Stephen Lamont with a law license in 2010.

The Idaho Bar Counsel found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to respond to client inquiries
  • Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client’s interests
  • Failed to respond to client’s request for documents

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Idaho Supreme Court punished Bernie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 9-months suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Idaho Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Chris.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Chris practices at 817 Johnson Avenue in Orofino, Idaho.
