Solicitor Ceri Williams of Cupar, Scotland; ethical misfit

The Law Society presented Ceri Williams with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Ceri guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Represented both the lender and borrower in a transaction
  • Entered into an agreement contrary to client’s best interests

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Annaline by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2014), Ceri practices in Cupar, Scotland.
