Attorney James Underhill of Denver; ethical gremlin

The state of Colorado presented James C. Underhill with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Willamette University of Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Mismanaged his trust and operating accounts
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to communicate with client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak, (ca. September 2014), Jimmy practices with the Neighborhood Law Office PC at 7225 East Hampden Avenue in Denver, Colorado.
