Attorney Robert Atwood of River Heights, UT; ethical dwarf

The state of Utah presented Robert D. Atwood with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Utah Law School.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improper communication with third party re: withdrawal as client attorney
  • Revealed confidential client information
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct by assisting or inducing another to do so or through the acts of another
  • Failed to properly communicate with client
  • Revelation of client confidences used by opposing counsel to client’s disadvantage
  • Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of his conduct (Up Yours, Bobby said!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Bobby practices at 780 Stewart Hill Drive in River Heights, Utah.
