Attorney Michael Bishop of Milwaukee; ethical dwarf

The state of Wisconsin presented Michael Francis Bishop with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Marquette University Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Overdrew his trust account (rubber check)
2. Check did not identify client or what it related to
3. Failed to maintain transaction register
4. Failed to maintain client ledgers
5. Failed to perform required monthly reconciliations of client accounts
6. Failed to comply with rules relating to handling of advanced fees
7. Violated the rules by depositing personal funds into trust account

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2014) Mike practices with the Bishop Law Offices at 8249 West Keefe Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
