Judge Julie Newell of Phoenix; moronic bully

The state of Arizona presented Julie P. Newell with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from Oklahoma City University Law School.

The Judicial Commission found Julie guilty of the following misconduct

1. Failed to act in a way promoting confidence in the judiciary
2. Failed to be patient, dignified, and courteous towards litigant
3. Improperly rejected attorney’s notice of appearance to attend hearing
4. Acted in an intimidating manner during a hearing
5. Failed to make record reasons for modifications re: protective order
6. Failed to provide parties with required notice

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Julie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Julie continues to sit as a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge in Phoenix, Arizona.
