Attorney Mosabi Hamed of Dearborn, MI; repeat offender

The state of Michigan presented Mosabi Hamed with a law license in 1982.

The Attorney Discipline Board found Mosabi guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected immigration matter entrusted to him
  • Made false statements to client’s prior counsel
  • Failed to appear at hearing on client’s behalf
  • Made false statements regarding status of case to client
  • Harassed and threatened opposing party
  • Failed to appear at settlement hearing in divorce action on client’s behalf
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to file lawsuit or take appropriate action on client’s behalf in employment discrimination matter
  • Failed to refund an unearned fee (crook)
  • Assisted a disbarred attorney in the illegal practice of law
  • Issued refund check to client on insufficient fund account (rubber)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Mosabi!)

As one would suspect this wasn’t Mosabi’’s First bite at the attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) complimentary for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Mosabi by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2014) Mosabi practices at 13939 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
