Judge Steven Servass of Grand Rapids, MI; pervert, lifetime porker

The state of Illinois provided Steven R. Servass with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from the University of Michigan Law School.

For the past forty-four (44) years, Servass has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Beginning in 1972 through 2014, Steve has relied on a government check after first working as an assistant Kent County prosecutor and then being elected as a judge in 1972. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Grand Rapids area was about to offer Stevie a good paying job.

The Judicial Tenure Commission found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Stevie engaged in sexually inappropriate conduct toward female court employees when he drew females breasts on a note that was attached to a court file. Stevie made the drawing after a female clerk commented on the revealing dress of a woman who had just appeared in court.

A second matter concerned Stevie’s drawing of a penis that appeared in a notice attached to a court file. Rumor has it that it was a short self portrait of Stevie!

The third matter took place during a retirement party for an employee of the second Division courthouse. While at the party, Stevie commented on a university sweatshirt worn by a female clerk. Stevie said that the woman had “an awfully small chest” for the college indicated on the sweatshirt, and that “she should have gone to smaller school like Alma,” which would have fit her “small chest better.”

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2014), Stevie continues to sit as a Kent County District Court Judge in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
