The state of Indiana presented Robert E. Springer with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Indiana Law School,

In one matter, Bobby presided over a case involving a dispute between a landlord and a tenant. In this case, Bobby ordered the female tenant to vacate her apartment.

The tenant then appealed Bobby’s absurd order to the Court of Appeals, which reversed his order by ruling as follows:

• Hearing to vacate failed to satisfy the very minimum due process requirements
• Bobby failed to preside over the hearing as he was required to do
• Bobby illegally allowed a court reporter to conduct the hearing
• The tenant’s right to a neutral decision-maker was violated
• No witnesses were sworn at the hearing
• No evidence was heard at the hearing
• Ms. Reynolds wasn’t given the opportunity to defend against the ejectment

At the conclusion of the illegal hearing conducted pursuant to the Australian Rules of Court, Ms. Reynolds was presented with a pre-singed court order by Bobby requiring her to vacate the premises.

Bobby’s improper and/or illegal conduct led to tens-of-thousands of taxpayer dollars being wasted due to the costs incurred by the Court of Appeals.

Of course Bobby doesn’t much give a damn about trampling on a litigant’s “due process” rights nor does he care if he’s reversed on appeal because he can’t be removed from the bench.

As we speak (ca. July 2014), Bobby remains sitting as a Sullivan County Circuit Court Judge in Sullivan, Indiana, which is about 26 miles south of Terre Haute.
