Judge Sheila McGinnis of Chicago; drunken loser

The state of Illinois presented Sheila M. McGinnis with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from John Marshall Law School.

The Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board found Sheila guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Sheila rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped at a stoplight, which resulted in damage to the motorist’s vehicle.

A police officer, who responded to the accident scene, detected booze on Sheila’s breath while attempting to question her.

Sheila refused to take a field sobriety test at the scene; refused to answer questions; and failed to provide proof of valid auto insurance.

She was then arrested for driving under the influence (DUI), failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and failure to provide proof of insurance.

While at the police station, Sheila again refused to take a Breathalyzer test.

Subsequently, Sheila the Lush pled guilty to driving under the influence and was sentenced to court supervision for eighteen months, fined $1,000, and order to complete treatment pursuant to an alcohol evaluation.

An unreliable source indicated that Sheila opted to attend the Lindsay Lohan Institute for Drunks located in Burbank, California.

As we speak (ca. August 2014), Sheila the Drunk continues to sit as a Cook County Circuit Court Judge in Chicago.
