Judge Steven Nordquist of Rockford, IL; drunken loser

The state of Illinois presented Steven L. Nordquist with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Hamline University Law School.

The Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board found Steve guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Steve was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and speeding.

Subsequently Steve pleaded guilty and was sentence to court supervision for 12 months and restricted driving privileges for ninety days, was fined $2,300 and was ordered to attend a victim impact panel.

In addition, Steve was ordered to complete treatment for alcohol abuse. Rumor has it that Steve opted to attend the Mel Gibson Institute for Sobriety located in West Hollywood, California.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Steve by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2014), Steven continues to sit as a Judge on the Seventeenth Circuit in Winnebago County, which is located in Rockford, Illinois.
