Attorney John J. Elliott of Oswego, NY; ethical misfit

The state of New York provided John J. Elliott with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the Albany Law School.

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was sitting as a Oswego County Surrogate judge.

Over the course of several years, Johnny found it acceptable to violate mandatory disclosure rules when he failed to file his annual financial disclosure statement with the Ethics Commission for the Unified Court System.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Commission punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. April 2016) Johnny practices in Oswego, New York.
