Judge Dana Preisse of Columbus, OH; liar, ethical leper-con, dufus
Sadly, Judge Dana the Dufus (DD) has been sitting on the Domestic Relations (Family) Court in Franklin County, Ohio (Columbus) since 1996.
Beginning in the late 1990s, I received a myriad of complaints from litigants who had their cases assigned to Judge Dana Priesse. These folks all complained of her bad demeanor (an Il Duce Wannabee) and her total lack of competency.
Did the Dishonorable Judge Preisse lie about her residency?
Under Ohio law, Dana the Dufus was required to be a legal resident of Franklin County to be eligible to sit on the court in Columbus. An investigation in the past revealed that she actually resided in an upscale neighborhood in Powell, which is located in Delaware County where she resided with her husband.
A review of Dana's charge card receipts and other public records clearly established that her official residence was in Delaware County.
In a lame attempt at circumventing the residency requirements, Judge Dana Priesse claimed that she lived in a small, unkempt apartment in German Village, in downtown Columbus. Interviews with local neighbors indicated that they could never recall seeing Judge Priesse at this apartment. Put simply, this was an underhanded subterfuge by her to skirt the election laws.
Conclusion
It is indeed unfortunatel that a loser of Judge Preisse's ilk is able to skirt election laws in order to obtain a judgeship she clearly was never qualified for. Even more distressing is the fact that she remains on the bench (ca. Feb. 2010) where she is provided a platform to do even more harm to the litigants that are assigned to her court.
