Attorney Richard Gordon of Newport News, VA; ethical misfit

The state of Virginia presented Richard Scott Gordon with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Suffolk University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to ace with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to act fairly with opposing party
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Dick!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. .

As we speak (ca. August 2014), Dick practices with Tanner & Mulkey PC at 690 J. Clyde Morris Blvd in Newport News, Virginia.
