 The state of Virginia presented James Pearce Brice, Jr. with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
 
As we speak (ca. August 2014), Jimmy practices in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area.

 

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Wrote check on insufficient fund account (rubber)
  2. Failed to maintain complete records of client funds
  3. Failed to note means by which funds were received or paid
  4. Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Jimmy!)
  5. Failed to record receipt of client funds
  6. Failed to perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of client trust accounts
