Attorney Ray Galvan Jr. of Addison, TX; ethical goblin

The state of Texas presented Ray Galvan Jr. with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) Law School.

The District 6 Grievance Committee found Ray guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matters entrusted to him
  • Failed to abide by client’s decisions re: settlement
  • Failed to keep clients informed as to status of legal matters
  • Failed to comply with client requests for information
  • Failed to promptly deliver funds owing to third party

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Ray by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Ray.

As we speak (ca. August 2014) Ray practices at 15444 Dallas Parkway in Addison, Texas.
