Attorney Ellen Corcella of Indianapolis; ethical misfit

The state of Indiana presented Ellen M. Corcella with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from Georgetown University Law School.

The Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission found Ellen guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Charged an unreasonable fee
  • Entered into business transaction with client
  • Failed to advise client to seek independent counsel re: business transaction

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Ellen by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2014), Ellen practices at 8447 Thorn Beno Drive in Indianapolis, Indiana.
