The state of Michigan provided Jonathan Wells Tappan with a law license in 2008

The Tri-County Hearing Panel found Jonathan guilty of the following misconduct.

Jonathan found it acceptable to knowingly violate rules prohibiting communicating with a party that he knew was represented by counsel. Jonathan did so without ever obtaining the permission of the party’s attorney.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Jonathan by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. July 2014), Jonathan practices with Jonathan Wells Tappan PLLC at 2549 Somerset Blvd in Troy, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
