Attorney Christopher Meek of Baxter Springs, KS; convicted druggie

The state of Kansas presented Christopher Young Meek with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Washburn University Law School.

The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, a grand jury returned an indictment a changed Chris with knowingly and intentionally aiding and abetting the manufacture of marijuana and maintaining a place for its manufacture. He was also charged with knowingly unlawfully possessing hydrocodone.”

Several months later, Chris pled guilty to possession of hydrocodone in return for dismissal of the marijuana charges.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2014) Chris practices at 1031 Military Avenue in Baxter Springs, Kansas.
