Today’s “Moron” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Louie. In the past, he has been the recipient of sixteen (16) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

During a recent (06/10/14) House Judiciary Committee hearing, Louie the Loon (LL) questioned Pastor Barry Lynn who supports the separation of church and state.  Rev. Barry pointed out to LL that he had recently been the recipient of the Medal of Freedom from the Roosevelt Institute in 2011 for his work supporting the freedom to worship.

In a never ending attempt to establish his exalted status as one of America’s Premier Idiots, LL responded by asking Rev. Lynn: “But that wasn’t awarded by Roosevelt himself?’ Since FDR died in 1945, any Moron would have known he couldn’t have personally given an award to anyone 66 years after his death.

Following LL’s FDR idiocy, the following colloquy took place between LL and Rev. Lynn.

Louie the Loon:  “So, you do not believe somebody would go to Hell if they do not believe Jesus is the way, the truth, the life?”

Rev. Lynn argued that people would not go to hell if for believing a “set of ideas.”

Louie the Loon:  No, not a set of ideas. Either you believe as a Christian that Jesus is the way, the truth, or life or you don’t.”

Rev. Lynn:  Congressman, what I believe is not necessarily what I think ought to justify the creation of public policy for anybody.” When I recently spoke at an American Atheists conference, it was clear from the very beginning, the first sentence that I was a Christian minister.”

Louie the Loon:  So, the Christian belief as you see it is whatever you choose to think about Christ, whether or not you believe those words he said that nobody basically ‘goes to heaven except through me.”

I personally take offense that Louie the Loon and those of his ilk in Congress can waste taxpayer money by holding hearings wherein they engage in this type of lunacy.

The mere though that the Loon was a District Court Judge in Smith County, Texas is enough to make any rational person flee to another country or state.

Congrats Louie; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Morons”; you are far too humble.
