Solicitor Alasdair Oag of Glasgow; ethical misfit

The Law Society presented Alasdair Bremner Oag with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Alasdair guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to register valid disposition re: client’s property
  • Failed to respond to client’s repeated inquiries
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Alasdair!)
  • Failed to adequately supervise employees

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Alasdair by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Alasdair practices with Oag & Co. Solicitors at 77 Buccleuch Street, in Glasgow, Scotland.
