Attorney Paul Lasko, Winnipeg, Canada; lying loser

The Law Society of Manitoba presented Paul Lasko with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Manitoba Law School.

The Law Society of Manitoba found Paul guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Improper handling of trust account funds
  2. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  3. Client’s appeal dismissed due to Paul’s failure to attend hearing
  4. Improperly paid fees to himself prior to providing client with his bill
  5. Misled (lied) to client about the outcome of a case
  6. Failed to attend scheduled appeal hearing on client’s behalf
  7. Lied to client that appeal dismissed because client failed to attend hearing

As one would suspect, this isn’t Paul’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously was disciplined for lying to a client about the outcome of the client’s case.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Paul by gifting him with a complimentary $15,000 fine.

As we speak (June 2014), Paul practices at 387 Broadway in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
